Captain's Log
Hello! If you think you might be interested in Lost Boys, first we ask just a few things of you. If you haven't done so already, please read through the website so that you understand exactly who we are and how we work. We aren't just any linkshell. We don't do Sky, Sea, Dynamis, or Limbus on a regular basis. We are a role-play linkshell, and that's what the pearl is for.
We ask that you also make sure to read through our Linkshell Rules. As Lost Boys is an honorable linkshell that tries to maintain a certain dignity in the land of Vana'diel, you must be able to abide by all of our rules in order to join.
Please also note that if you are a player looking to transfer your character over from another server, you may want to create a mule character first, just to see if you like the linkshell and the server enough to transfer. Remember, there's a three month waiting period to transfer back!! Please comment on your application that this is your intention.
Finally, a little bit about our application process.
- First, you fill out the form and submit it.
- This application will then be reviewed by the linkshell leader, Keir.
- If your application is deemed to be serious, thoughtful, and in step with the goals of this linkshell, you will be given a pearl.
- If, at any time, Keir deems that you aren't well-fitted to the linkshell, he can and will remove you. This is an extreme, but has happened in the past under circumstances of behavior that we did not feel was in the best interests of the linkshell as a whole.
We realize that the application is a somewhat tedious process. The reason that this has come about has been due to instances where people will join and then not continue to play their character on the linkshell or where people who could not abide by our rules or deliberately caused problems on the linkshell needed to be dealt with. In most cases, serious roleplayers will be admitted with no problems.
